We are excited to announce the successful completion of our cutting-edge solar-powered water pump installation at #Goli Customs in #Nebbi District. This project marks a significant milestone in our commitment to providing sustainable and efficient water solutions.

Project Overview

Our latest project involved the installation of an advanced solar-powered water pumping system designed to enhance water accessibility and quality in the region. This system integrates several state-of-the-art technologies to ensure reliable performance and sustainability.

Final Stages Overview

• Installation of HDPE Pressure Pipes: We installed high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pressure pipes with an outer diameter of 40mm and a pressure rating of PN10. These pipes are crucial for transporting water efficiently and minimizing leakage.
• Deployment of a GRUNDFOS Submersible Pump: A GRUNDFOS SQF 3-105 submersible pump was deployed at a depth of 70 meters. This pump is known for its reliability and efficiency in handling water extraction from deep wells.
• Integration of Jinko Solar Panels: To power the system sustainably, we integrated Jinko brand solar panels with a capacity of 550Wp. These panels harness solar energy to drive the pump, reducing dependence on conventional power sources and lowering operational costs.
• Implementation of CIU 903 Switch Box: We installed a CIU 903 switch box equipped with circuit breakers and surge protective devices. This switch box ensures the safety and longevity of the electrical components by protecting them from power surges and electrical faults.
• Installation of Earthing and Lightning Protection Systems: To further safeguard the system, we implemented comprehensive earthing and lightning protection measures. These systems are essential for preventing damage from electrical surges and lightning strikes, ensuring the continuous and safe operation of the water pump.
